Project Summary: 

CCG (Scotland) Ltd is the principal contractor for a new development located just outside of Glasgow, Scotland. The new development consists of a total of 133 flats, providing affordable housing in the area under the direction of the Sanctuary Scotland not-for-profit organization. Work commenced on the two-year project back in October 2020 and is currently on schedule and budget.

Customer Challenges: 

Requirement for a Heavy-duty loading bay for material storage and large span opening required for continuation of vehicle movement around the jobsite. 

AT-PAC Solution:

Our experienced design team worked directly with our customer, and on-staff engineering team to overcome some challenging access requirements, required on site. A core part of the design was to provide a 3.07 x 3.07m square loading bay platform to support a load of 4.2kN/m² on one lift. This was achieved by utilizing AT-PAC’s Ringlock HD Loading Bay Transoms and Steel Planks, along with AT-PAC’s Loading Bay Gates. 

Impact: 

AT-PAC designed & engineered an efficient scaffold meeting all the requirements of the customer and site specifications, and ultimately supplied 700+ tonnes of AT-PAC Ringlock split across the three new building blocks.
